Team 1 Makes Inc. 5000 List

Team 1 Plastics, Albion, Michigan, recently was named to a list of the “fastest growing private companies” based on percentage revenue growth for the past three years. It was one of 12 manufacturers in Michigan to be included on Inc. magazine's 5000 List.

Coming in at No. 4,943, this was the second time Team 1 has made the list. The company was recognized in 1993 when it was ranked 101st. A lot has changed in Michigan's manufacturing landscape since then, but Team 1 has persistently advanced. The company has expanded its production capacity several times, weathered the recession of 2008 and has embraced technology as a tool to compete globally.

The 2015 Inc. 5000 was open to companies that were US-based, privately held, for profit, independent – not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies – as of Dec. 31, 2014. The list is ranked according to percentage revenue growth when comparing 2011 to 2014. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2011.
