Frigel Opens $7M Facility in Bangkok

Frigel, headquartered in Italy, has completed construction of its new 97,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Bangkok, Thailand.

The new plant, which now is in operation, reinforces the company’s commitment to servicing customers in the Asia Pacific market, while also demonstrating continued demand for Frigel’s process engineering expertise and intelligent process cooling technology.

Frigel began construction of the plant in 2013 and will no longer operate its former facility in Bangkok. The total $7 million investment for the new plant includes costs for land, construction and production machinery. At the new facility, Frigel will manufacture the Ecodry 3DK Closed Loop Adiabatic Liquid Cooler system, as well as other products, including Microgel Chiller/TCUs.

In addition to Bangkok, Frigel has two manufacturing facilities in Italy, as well as Brazil, where it also provides sales, engineering, parts and product support. Additional operations are located in the US, Germany and Australia.
