DMP Expands Capabilities in Mexico; Gets ISO/TS 16949 Certification

Responding to increased customer interest in its Mexico operations, Dickten Masch Plastics has expanded thermoset molding capabilities at DMP Monterrey, which recently achieved ISO/TS 16949 certification.

The Nashotah, WI-based thermoplastics and thermoset manufacturer acquired the Monterrey facility in 2011 and has experienced a roughly 40-percent increase in sales since then and anticipates additional double-digit growth over the next 12-18 months. The facility now has seven operational thermoset presses and three more will be added in 2013. DMP also is adding secondary operations such as de-flashing machines, which result in a cleaner, more efficient operation.
