Registration now is open for ANTEC® 2013, which will take place on April 22-24 at the Duke Energy Convention Center in Cincinnati, OH. The Business of Plastics Conference, with a focus on current issues affecting business strategy, is included as a part of ANTEC registration.
Creating the Online Connection with Customers and Prospects
- Plastics Business Managing Editor Dianna Brodine will moderate an interactive panel session on social media use in the plastics industry. The panel will feature plastics professionals at the forefront of social media use. Learn how plastics processors and industry suppliers are using Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, blogs and other online tools to advance thought leadership, create brand awareness and network within the industry. The panel will include Craig Carrel, president of Team 1 Plastics; Dana Foster, director of marketing for Thogus Products; and Kelly Goodsel, president of Viking Plastics.
ANTEC is the world’s largest annual plastics technical conference, consisting entirely of original, peer-reviewed presentations on a variety of topics relevant to today’s global plastics industry. Besides more than 500 papers in 40 different plastics technical areas, ANTEC 2013 will include three "New Technology" forums, three plenary speeches, tutorials for a range of processes and materials, panel discussions, technical seminars for professional advancement and activities for students and young industry personnel.
The Business of Plastics Conference is a two-day slate of programming intended for executives concerned about the vision of the industry and the impact of social, environmental, legal and regulatory implications on the competitive marketplace. The program features business model case studies, challenges and considerations in four major areas: automotive, electronics, packaging and medical industries.
An exhibits-only pass is available for $75 prior to April 12 and includes all Business of Plastics sessions.
As part of the Business of Plastics Programming, Plastics Business Managing Editor Dianna Brodine will lead a panel discussion featuring three MAPP Member executives in a conversation about nontraditional methods of customer engagement.
